Network Staff
Administration
Dr. L. Carol Scott, Executive Director, oversees the operations of
the Network offices, supervises staff and coordinates services with the
local CCR&R agencies. She is assisted by
Robin Zellers, the Projects Coordinator, who coordinates activities
of Missouri
Department of Health and Senior Services and Department of Social Services
contracts to ensure that goals and objectives of the contracts are accomplished
within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Margo Heger, the Data and Contracts Coordinator, compiles and analyzes data collected through the Network's services.
Misty Schulz, the Financial Coordinator,
oversees the fiscal department and is assisted
by Angela Schaffer, Accounting Assistant.
Janice Carter, the Administrative Coordinator, supports the Network Projects.
T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood MISSOURI
Beth Ann Lang, T.E.A.C.H. MISSOURI Project Coordinator,
manages the nationally affiliated scholarship and compensation project
for early childhood care and education teachers.
She is assisted by Penny Mosher, T.E.A.C.H. MISSOURI Scholarship Counselor. The Project Coordinator and the Scholarship Counselor recruit and counsel scholarship recipients and offer career counseling, coordinate enrollment with educational institutions and work with sponsoring child care employers.
Accreditation Facilitation Project
Lori Williams, Accreditation Coordinator,
works with the local CCR&R agencies to coordinate the activities of
this project, which assists child care centers and family child care homes
in their pursuit of NAEYC, NAFCC, or MOA accreditation.
Training and Inclusion Services
Sanaria Sulaiman, Training and Inclusion Services Manager, manages
training projects and inclusion services provided through the local child
care resource and referral agencies. Training services include the delivery
of Child Care Orientation Training, Infant/ Toddler Child Care Orientation,
and School-Age Care Orientation Training.
Inclusion services include child care referrals
for families with special needs and technical assistance regarding inclusion.
The Training and Inclusion Services Manager is also
responsible for the Healthy Child Care Missouri activities completed at
the Network level.
MOCCRRN Mid-Missouri
Joanne Nelson, CCR&R Project Director for Mid-Missouri and Northeast Regions, coordinates referral services, training coordination, inclusion services, and accreditation facilitation services in the MOCCRRN Mid-Missouri and Northeast. Melissa Schulte, Referral/Data Specialist, assists families/guardians in locating and selecting child care through consumer education on choosing quality child care. Barb Vigil, Training Coordinator / Inclusion Specialist, coordinates training opportunities for child care providers and helps families and providers create inclusive child care programs to meet the needs of child and family. Trinette Brewer, Training / Inclusion Specialist helps coordinate training opportunities for child care providers and helps families and providers create inclusive child care settings.
MOCCRRN Northeast
Becky Kircher, Referral/Data Specialist, assists families/guardians in locating and selecting child care through consumer education on choosing quality child care. Cheryl Baryo, Inclusion/Early Childhood Specialist, helps families and providers create inclusive child care programs to meet the needs of child and family. Julie Allen, Training/Early Childhood Specialist, coordinates training opportunities and accreditation services for child care providers in the Northeast region.
